Our mission

The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation aims to financially support talented students at the Maastricht Conservatory in their musical development. Music inspires, connects, and benefits people. The young musicians of the Maastricht Conservatory add color to our lives. They live like top athletes to excel, for us as listeners. Their lives revolve around creating and experiencing music, and passing it on to future generations.

We focus on talented music students with limited financial resources from the classical, jazz, and education departments. They can apply for financial support through a transparent procedure, for example, to:

• the purchase or maintenance of an expensive instrument
• attending a special or international masterclass
• doing auditions
• the realization of a special project

In addition, a contribution to tuition fees can be requested in special cases.

Encouraging musical talent at the Maastricht Conservatory is valuable to us all. Thanks to the generous contributions and gifts from donors, the Maastricht Conservatory Foundation can support students. This allows us to add value to the world, in and through music. We are very grateful to our friends and sponsors for this.

The Conservatorium Maastricht Foundation is an independent legal entity (with ANBI recognition), but closely associated with the Maastricht Conservatory. All funds within the foundation benefit the students of the Maastricht Conservatory.
